Roy Fleetwood has completed numerous strategic design studies for leading companies in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Japan. Many of his works are patented and have won awards in international competitions. He founded the Office for design strategy in Cambridge, and with his partner Kenji Sugimura, SFKK Architects and Engineers in Tokyo. Architectural works in Japan include the Namerikawa Manufacturing and Engineering Centre for YKK Architectural Products Inc, and the Setagaya Museum of Literature in Tokyo. As Managing Director of Foster Associates Architects and Engineers in Hong Kong and Sir Norman Foster’s associate in London, he directed the design development and construction of numerous architectural projects around the world, including the New Headquarters building for the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in Hong Kong and the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts.
